Graduations 2022 - update
UTS is currently planning for the return of graduation ceremonies in 2022.
We look forward to welcoming all graduates who missed ceremonies in 2020 and 2021, and those completing their studies in 2022.
A number of options will be made available to graduates, including online events for those who are unable to join us in person, as well as photo days and ceremonies.
At this stage, ceremonies will be held from March to November and we'll be in touch with graduates via email in December – please make sure your contact details are up to date with UTS Alumni.

Course completion and graduation documentation
If your course status in MyStudentAdmin (MSA) is marked as 'Passed' that means you have successfully completed the course requirements for your award. Once your course status has changed to 'Passed', your transcript will be automatically updated and you will see 'Complete' instead of 'Active'. Following this update, your award will be scheduled to be conferred at the next conferral.
Conferral is the administrative process by which your degree is awarded. You are considered a graduate of UTS once your conferral date has passed. Every student who fulfils the requirements for completion of an award course is eligible for formal conferral of the award by the University Academic Board.
If you're applying for further study, or need evidence that you have met the academic requirements for your degree while you are waiting for your conferral, you can apply for a statement of course completion letter.

Note: Should NSW restrictions prevent UTS staff from being on campus the mail out of your hardcopy graduation documentation will be put on hold. If you have concerns around this you can opt in by the nominated graduation registration due date to receive My eQuals documents, as there won't be an opportunity for change of mind.

* Please note that these dates may be subject to change.
Irrespective of ceremonies, you will be given access to your digital graduation documents once your degree has been conferred by Academic Board. You will have access to the following:
- Academic record (transcript)
- Australian Higher Education Statement (AHEGS)
- UTS testamur.
You will receive a separate email for each digital document once it is available. These emails will be sent to your preferred email address as recorded in MyStudentAdmin, under the 'Personal Details' tab.

After graduation
If you've just graduated, you can join UTS Alumni and enjoy a range of benefits and social activities, including special offers, event invitations, publications and an international network of contacts.
